The 2020 version was released in June 2020.
It is the last version that supports perpetual license.
Anyone who is interested in a one-time payment version can get Acrobat Classic instead.

At quick glance, having more features sounds great, but every feature consumes disk space.
Reverting to the signed version is also possible if you dislike the changes.
Adobe Scan
Adobe Scan is another convenience offered by the software.
It uses the camera on the gear to scan the object that you want to digitize.
After the scan is completed, Acrobat DC can be used to recognize the text.
This feature has been around since 2017 and is still updated consistently to date.
Even if your PC meets all the system requirements, you may find it much slower sometimes.
