The Canon MG4170 is an AirPrint-compatible multifunction printer.
These two are different types of inkjet inks, each of which has strength and weakness.
The printer relies on a four-color ink system to output prints, but it only uses two ink cartridges.

The PG-740 contains a pigment black ink and the CL-741 contains dye cyan, magenta, and yellow inks.
Anyone who is familiar with ink cartridges will probably know immediately that the latter is a tri-color cartridge.
Both the CL-741 and PG-740 are the standard-capacity cartridges.

Users who want more ink can use the high-yield versions instead.
Duplex Printing and Copying
A plain paper has two printable sides.
Additionally, scanned pages can also be saved to the memory card directly.

This means users wont have to transfer scanned pages to the PC first.
Users can even print from a mobile machine whether it runs on Android or iOS operating system.
The same rule applies to the MG4170.
The cartridge-based inkjet printer will fail to work without the driver.
