Microsoft recently released theMoment 4 updateforWindows 11which included several features from the upcomingWindows 11 23H2.
However, this feature has not been included in the Moment 4 update published in the European Union.
This way, the designated companies cannot monopolize the market and give fair chances to local companies.
Microsoft was now one of these companies and had to retract Windows Copilot because of it.
However, users in the European Union can still enable and use Windows Copilot until then as a workaround.
Prerequisites
To begin, you must have Windows 11 22H2 running.
This will show you your current OS version.
Once confirmed, you must also install theWindows Configuration Updateas well as theMoment 4 update KB5030310.
Once both of these are installed, continue to learn how to run Windows Copilot in the European Union.
Press theWindows Key + Rto bring up the Run Command box.
Paste the following command and pressEnter.
Here is how:
Right-tap on an empty space on the desktop, expandNewand then clickShortcut.
In theLocationfield, paste the following and clickNext.
However, the feature is still present and can be enabled using the tricks above.
This leaves Microsoft with no choice but to play fair and give the other companies a chance.
