Mozilla recently launched its private net net app, Firefox Focus on Play Store for Android platform.

According to Mozilla, the technology used to track users on the web makes mobile web pages slow.
Firefox Focus blocks all such trackers, ads and hence web page performance is also boosted.
As the name suggests, Firefox Focus is designed for a tab-less browsing experience.

That means a user will have a single site/tab open in the surfing app at any time.
However, the surfing app when initially released did not include several important features.
The company has now upgraded Firefox Focus to version 1.1 adding such features.

Firefox Focus now includes the ability to download files from within Firefox Focus.
If you are not aware, the net surf tool didnt support downloads in the earlier version.
One can download Mozillas privacy focused web client, Firefox Focus for free on Google Play Store.

The net net app is very lightweight, it weighs only 4 MB in size.
The web client comes with decent functionality too.
A user can change search engine and block different trackers.

you’ve got the option to download Firefox Focushereif your smartphone is running on Android 5.0 or up.
The update also lets users watch full-screen videos on most of the websites.
