Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service which is developed by Google.
The service was launched on April 24, 2012.
Since then it became one of the most used productivity tools.
However, the new feature is going to change the way we used to create a backup.
Very soon users will be able to backup the files inside any folders.
Now, users need to put the files inside the Drive folder for create the backup.
However, very soon Google will monitor the backup files inside any folder you point it to.
That can include, your entire document folder, desktop or any other locations.
Google said that they will implement this feature later this month, probably on June 28th.
The feature will come in the form of a new app which will be called Backup and Sync.
They can choose the folders or even drives to create the backup.
Later users can reach the backup file across different devices.
