Whos going to make it?
In the past weve seen Google phones manufactured by LG, HTC, Huawei, Samsung and Motorola.
For those unfamiliar, for both its smartphone series Google hires a third-party to be in charge of hardware.
Last year, the search engine giant assigned HTC to manufacture Google Pixel, and the Google Pixel XL.
According to various sources, Walleye will be Google Pixel 2, while Taimen represents Google Pixel 2 XL.

Lets talk about some specs.
Starting off from the front, we expect the XL to size up from 5.5-inch to 6.2-inch.
The normal-sized version will be maintaining the 5-inch form factor.
Both devices will be packing curved possibly AMOLED displays with 2K resolution.
Not much is know about the smartphones cameras.
Both devices will support quick-charging and feature pop in-C port connectivity.
Likely the devices will be powered by Qualcomms Snapdragon 836 CPU.
Two internal storage options will be available; 32GB and 128GB, both reportedly sporting 6GB of RAM.
The 128GB flavor should set you back about $100 more.
