By default, the Windows equipment Portal functionality is disabled.
It needs to be enabled and configured before you could get into the portal remotely.
How to enable Windows equipment Portal
WDP is only available on Windows 11.
Go to For Developers.Open For Developers controls
Enable Developer Mode.Enable Developer Mode
When asked for confirmation, clickYes.
Enter a username and a password, and clickApply.
Enable Developer Mode
These credentials will be used to enter the gear Portal remotely.
To jump into the gear Portal on a computer on the data pipe, use the respective URL instead.
For example, in this example, I will enter HTTP://192.168.100.167 into the Omnibox in the URL.
Enable authentication
You should now see the equipment Portal.
you might now continue to monitor and manage your Windows 11 PC remotely.
On the top, you see the battery percentage and power options for the remote PC.
Connection URLS
Now you have the power to restart or shut down the remote OC.

Additionally, you’re free to get information about the running apps or close them if needed.
Continue with an unsecured connection
The Running processes tab lets you manage the processes running on the PC, like theTask Manager.
For example, you might view the status of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity on theBluetoothand theNetworkingtabs respectively.
The Windows gadget Portal also provides some other interesting features, such as performance and log tracing.
