If your antivirus is still running, you oughta disable it before installingAutodesk Maya 2024.
To do so, openWindows Securityfrom theStartmenu.
- confirm that every protection feature is disabled.
If your rig is connected to the internet, stop the connection.
Extract theAutodesk Mayafolder from the archive file.
Right-clickMaya_2024_2_Windows_64bitand selectMountto open it as a virtual drive.
Double-click theSetupfile in the virtual drive.
Wait until the installation preparation is complete.
If the UAC (User Account Control) notification appears, pressYes.
Check the checkbox that saysI agree to the Terms of Use, and then pressNext.
- you’ve got the option to select which additional components to be included in the installation.
Once youre done, clickInstall.
Wait until the installation is complete.
Click theXbutton to shut the window once the installation is done.
If UAC shows up, clickYes.
When the window shown below appears, it means the patching is in progress.
Wait until it is done.
When the patching is done, the window will close automatically.
Launch Autodesk Maya 2024, and then selectUse a data pipe license.
As you’ve got the option to see in the image below, your license is verified.
Autodesk Maya 2024 is now ready to use.
