The HP OfficeJet 3830 is a great pick for low-volume printing and copying needs.
While this printer seems to be a good bargain, it isnt without shortcomings, however.
Features and Highlights
The HP OfficeJet 3830 looks compact and elegant.

The input tray has a few disadvantages.
If you leave stacks of paper in it, they will get dusty over time.
Also, only a meager sixty sheets can be loaded into the input tray.

The output tray holds even much fewer sheets, which is not more than twenty five sheets.
This very limited capacity can be disadvantageous when printing a large number of documents.
It holds a meager 35 sheets only.

The HP OfficeJet 3830 uses a mix of four colors to produce high-quality prints.
The name is based on the number of colors available in the cartridge.
There is one thing that many people dont know yet despite the cartridges have been around for years.
In short, a tri-color cartridge isnt a wise choice if you often have large print jobs.
Doing so would only increases the risk of damaging it.
And while you might call for a repair service, not every problem can be fixed.
You may end up having to buy a new printer sooner than your expectation.
Having said that, it is a decent inkjet printer no matter what.
