Microsoft Open Sources PowerShell, Brings It To OS X And Linux

Microsoft's efforts to make its services more open and systems have been high, there are already a number of its tools that have been made public and whose code is now open source. Recently, it announced another of its tools known as PowerShell, which was made open source and available for both Linux and OSX.

PowerShell came with Windows 7 and it was the natural evolution of the origin of Microsoft systems.

But Microsoft went further and also released two new versions of PowerShell.

There are installation packages for Ubuntu, CentoOS and OSX.
