Windows 10 brought many new features and improvements compared to Microsofts previous operating systems.
There were few minor limitations in the command prompt in the earlier versions of windows which is now upgraded.
New Released Windows 10, Command Prompt has finally gotten some much needed improvements.
And you’re able to switch on the new features simply by configuring them within the console properties.

Within the Command Prompt, right-hit the title bar and select Properties.
choose the Options tab and then wipe the Use legacy console (requires relaunch) check box.
Once the Command Prompt window is open, open Properties again.
You will notice that you now have selections enabled under both Edit Options and Text Selection.
For example, resizing the console is now much more intuitive.
Before, the only way to change the layout prefs was through the console properties.
Click Enable line wrapping selection within the Text Selection section on the Options tab.
This feature comes in handy when you may need to resize your window down during your session.
Using the Shift plus arrow keys allows for finer grain selection of text within the window.
As well, Ctrl+A is also available within the window.
