It will replace GDDR5 standard as well as the GDDR5X, which will give better performance in demanding games.
The company claimed that GDDR6 will be twice as fast as GDDR5.
GDDR5 standard is now used widely by GPUs today.
GDDR6 will also consume 10% lesser operating voltage compared to current GDDR5 standard.
