Corsair Obsidian Series 650D Case Review

Installing the 500GB hard drives was just as easy, but we do have two small complaints here. First, the 3.5" bays are not hot-swappable. The PSU’s SATA power cables were pressed hard up against the right side door causing it to bulge. Corsair could have easily provided more room here. While we only took photos of one power supply installed, we did successfully install two without any issues.

AMD A8-3850 Llano APU Review

Unfortunately, the gap between the A8-3850 and HD 5570 broadened in Crysis Warhead. The A8-3850 was much slower than the Radeon HD 5570 and GeForce GT 430 when testing with StarCraft II. Meanwhile, the i7 2600K continued to trail in last.

Maingear Titan 17 Notebook Review

Considered a desktop replacement by Maingear, the Titan 17 is their most powerful notebook to date. Maingear also supplied us with a MadCatz Cyborg R.A.T. 5 adjustable gaming mouse, bringing the grand total as configured to $5,400. As you might see, the Titan 17 is not your average oversized laptop.

QNAP TS-412 Turbo NAS Review

Without drives installed, the TS-412 weighs 6.61lbs (3.0kg), a bit heavier than the Synology DS411J. The black front and aluminum chassis gives it a very sleek and professional look. Like all good NAS devices, the TS-412 allows drives to be hot-swapped during operation. The use of individual, detachable 3.5-inch hard drive trays makes adding or removing storage capacity a breeze. The security-conscious should know that the bays can’t be locked so drives can be removed at any time....
