This is the first release from the Release 270 family of drivers (versions 270.xx to 274.xx). You canread more about this family of drivers on GeForce.com.

In total we have tested 25 graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia. The latest official drivers were used for all graphics cards. Such an approach works by accumulating sub-samples over frames and reprojecting them to the current frame. It works on alpha tested geometry, and performs shader anti-aliasing i.e. on surfaces using Parallax Occlusion mapping, or similar aliasing prone techniques. We also ran similar tests using a range of processors from AMD and Intel to see how they compared....

The highest visual quality tweaks were used along with 4xAA/16xAF. Meanwhile, it topped the HD 6970 by 65% GTX 580 by 48%.

Fans of the original game are no doubt excited about the recent release of Dragon Age II. Right off the bat BioWare released a freehigh-resolution texture pack downloaddesigned exclusively for the PC version.
