Is it a perfect keyboard? Also, the backlighting isn’t terribly bright and could use a boost. Users with a single display may have better results. The volume scroll wheel works great. I do, however, miss the two USB ports that were on the G15. Overall typing on the G510 is pleasant with all of the keys in their correct placement. My final observation with the G510 has to do with the wrist rest....

The AMD processors also perform well when testing with the x264 HD Benchmark which is a synthetic program. The Athlon II X3 445 was also very impressive, outpacing the old Core 2 Quad Q9400. The AMD processors don’t perform as well in the TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress conversion test.
