Had it worked, it would have saved Panic lots of time and money.
Unsurprisingly, quality suffered.
Panic said the dock would crash often, especially when rapidly adjusting the volume.
Attempting to iron out the bugs while working through a middleman was a struggle, but Panic pushed forward.
The company took over audio development, tweaking the equalizer to improve sound quality.
All the while, the cost of the project kept climbing.
Perhaps a Kickstarter to rework the dock could be an option down the road?
