Ohio couple claimed that they left the phone on the couch while it was charging.

Samsung had tried very hard to diminish the problem.
However, all of their attempts failed.
The company ended up by suspending the production of Galaxy Note 7.

Recently, another incident was witnessed, and this time it was not the Galaxy Note 7.
According toWDTN, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge caught fire all of a sudden in Germantown.

They heard a sound which Kelly Taylor describes as a small bomb.
The phone exploded and left burn marks on a couch.

Kelly Taylor said We heard like a pop, like a snap.
And then we heard a sizzle, like a smoke bomb being let off.
Smoke was pouring off the couch.

And it turned out to be this phone.
However, Kelly Taylor had burnt his finger while trying to push the phone off the couch.
So, what caused the phone to explode?
Well, the charger and the cable both looks original.
There are no details as to what might have caused the fire.
Kelly Taylor claimed that neither AT&T nor Samsung helped him to get a newly replaced phone.
Samsung is demanding a $200 fee to replace the phone that caught fire.
The cause of the fire remains unidentified.
