TeamViewer Hacked?

We are currently experiencing issues in parts of our connection.
We apologize for any inconveniences caused.
Of course, I immediately revoked remote control and asked who [the hacker] is.

Good thing I connected to [the server] right after the remoted into my workstation.
I revoked his permission before he tried to open Firefox.
Immediately after, I started panicking, and thought he just stole all my passwords.

it’d be great to know what’s happening exactly behind the scenes.
Transparency and authenticity is vital in this situation.
The second time I caught them on red handed trying to use my paypal to buy ITunes.

There is no security breach at TeamViewer.
The outage was brought on by a denial-of-service attack (DoS) aimed at the TeamViewer DNS-Server infrastructure.
TeamViewer immediately responded to fix the issue to bring all services back up.
We have no evidence that these issues are related.
